Melissa Hansen has been named Controller to lead accounting operations for Identiti, a privately held national signage company delivering comprehensive design, planning, management, fabrication, installation, and maintenance services for signage and branded environments.
Before joining Identiti, Melissa served as the Corporate Controller for a construction materials company operating in the Chicagoland area. She has 15 years’ experience in construction and real estate accounting, mastering the preparation of accurate financial statements. In her roles, she’s led high-performing teams; managed cash; and maintained relationships with outside parties that include auditors, tax authorities, service providers, and JV partners, among others.

Melissa prides herself on a keen attention to detail and a capacity to learn quickly and efficiently. Her past reports and colleagues note her overall positive attitude and team-player mentality. She holds an M.B.A. with distinction in financial management from DePaul University and a B.B.A.in accounting from Benedictine University. When she isn’t busy leading Identiti’s accounting operations, Melissa enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
